The Bible tells us this, but Creation proves it. Many question His sovereignty based on assumptions about circumstances, such as, if there is a loving all powerful God, then He would have prevented X from happening. This is not a debate, so I will not explain all the fallacies in this premise and conclusion. However, Yeshua told us a parable about creation using symbols of wheat and weeds. (Matt. 13: 24-30). He explained the meaning to His disciples, “He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Matt. 13: 37-43).
This world is populated by good and evil. Everything that causes sin and all who do evil are of the enemy. The only refuge is in God alone. The Bible is full of evidence illustrating clearly how the mercy, compassion and love of God are shown to His creation. Moreover, His character of truthfulness, faithfulness and lovingkindness is demonstrated to His chosen people Israel and subsequently to everyone who joins Israel through belief in Yeshua, Messiah.
In order to find a salvation, goodness, and life everlasting our only hope is found in Yeshua, Messiah. There is no other source or hope of life. God’s ways lead to life and blessing, but He decides and judges, as our human judgment, values, reasoning, instincts, and knowledge are flawed by the influences of the enemy, even those of God’s people. Yeshua came as Savior and He gave gifts to men. The greatest and preeminent gift is the Holy Spirit, which indwells every Believer. The Spirit is a guarantee of eternal life and our connection and relationship to the Father. God is just and He established a standard of perfection, which is impossible apart from Yeshua.
