Fertile Tilled Earth

In God’s sight, which is reality, our virtue is our receptivity of His seed that grows into a pleasing planting in His Kingdom garden. We didn’t plant, nor water, or cause the growth, but we received what He purposed and brought forth. The roots went down deep and wide into our soil finding water in times of drought and securing the trunk against the stormy winds of life. His sunshine and gentle rains brought forth branches and foliage that absorbed His lovingkindness as they reached out to Him. Then He cut back and pruned this new growth in order to bring forth fruit, for branches and leaves alone were never His purpose. The fruit is heavy and bends the plant with its weight, but the vine dresser reaps a harvest in its time. This is just an amplified illustration of God’s work and our limited part therein. It represents your heart, faith, family, life of discipleship and God’s work. Even so, God said, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Genesis 3:19)

All things proceed from God out of His compassion and wisdom. Our consciousness in the natural is simply a recognition of our independent existence, but the Spirit within each Believer, establishes a connection with our Father wherein He reveals His nature, character and person. From this relationship we receive insight, vision, and wisdom about His ways, purposes, and our future. Because He is omnipresent He is willing for us to know Him in the past, present and future, we can’t live in the past or future, but history and prophecy reveal Him there. He does not withhold any good thing from us. (Psalm 84:11) The best thing in all the universe and beyond is God Himself. Mankind is individually and collectively proceeding toward restoration and realization of God’s ultimate plan to unite all things in Him, and that is so very good it’s beyond description. (Col. 1: 15-20; 1 Cor. 6:17)
