Truth of Reality
“Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn’t.” – Mark Twain. Reality comprises every possibility, where as fiction must stay securely in the realm of the plausible. Reality has no limits, as it is ruled by a miracle working God. Actually, this is great evidence for the truth of miracles. The next time you hear of a miraculous event and are tempted to doubt, consider God’s hand in reality.
When you surrendered your will, pride, or desires for the Lord He accepted it as an offering. It was an acceptable offering and as such it was recieved by the Lord. The Holy Spirit was behind this offering whether you realized it or not. What you considered a slight denial of your wants in preference of the Lord’s ways resulted in more eternal substance than you can comprehend. (Mark 9:41)
God’s Tender Care
Love takes particular care of those who require it and infants are totally helpless. Yeshua observed the precious, innocent and dependent status of children and gave them priority access to him. We don’t need to be taught this as it is strikingly obvious. Parents and mothers specifically recieve a special gift of love for their babies. God appoints an angels to watch over children. (Matt. 18:10) We see this supernatural care in situations most dire such as tornados or accidents of all sorts. Many times infants are supernaturally preserved from harm.
God’s Supernatural Word
We know that mere human words cannot accomplish things. Numerous quotes have become colloquial regarding “All talk and no action”. However, God’s word has power. Yeshua said, “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.” (John 15: 3) His spoken words have cleansing power. “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7) His words within the Child of God are able to cause whatever is asked to be done. Not only are the words, deeds, and teaching of Yeshua full of power, His name is equally effective. “By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.” (Acts 3:16) “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
