“For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.” (Luke 21:15)
The Truth is among the most powerful forces existing which evil men have forever sought to silence. It was self-evident truths written in the US Constitution that became foundations in the nations of the free world. Dictators and Communist regimes have resisted and hidden the truth. They promote lies as truth, control speech, contradict sound reasoning, and forbid the search for truth. Yeshua, (Jesus’ Hebrew name) came into the world to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to Him. (John 18:37) This is God’s plan for the final judgment with witnesses and testimony of the truth which separates and divides perfectly between right and wrong, good and evil, love and hate, heaven and hell.
Today is the day of salvation for those who hear the truth of Messiah Yeshua, but not for those who reject it. Paul experienced this dichotomy at Rome meeting with the Jewish leaders. “They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus. Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe. They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet: “‘Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'” (Acts 28:23-27) Even many in Israel refused to believe the truth of the scriptures about Yeshua, Messiah.
All Believers are called with this charge to be witnesses and testify to the truth in all its varied aspects. (Mark 16:15) The Bible is full of truth ranging from the origin of life to properly handling money. In the end, the evidence will justify the righteous and condemn the wicked. In a myriad of examples, the lovingkindness and grace of God joining together with His Justice. (Ps. 85:10; 97:2; 89:14; 33:5; Hosea 2:19) On judgment day truth will prove God’s love and faithfulness, as well as His righteousness and justice. God’s truth and word are irresistible and undeniable.
