“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of the earth.” (Revelation 19:11-16)
When Yeshua, (Jesus’ Hebrew name) returns as Commander of Heaven’s army, He will fight against the nations opposed to Israel. He is returning to save all Israel, as He is and was their Messiah. We must never forget that our Messiah Yeshua, is an Israeli and our acceptance of Him as Lord of Lord’s is an acceptance of Israel. “Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands)—remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.” (Ephesians 2:11,12,19-21)
We don’t become Jews, nor follow the Jewish laws, which were unable to save Israel, but we are accepted into God’s family which began with Abraham, father all who have faith in the one true God. Most importantly we are joint heirs with Lord, Yeshua and the entire family of God – Israel and the nations one in Messiah.
