When we see or hear things we can jump to conclusions, first we pick up on the senders perspective which is good or bad, negative or positive. For example, many messages are persuasive whether intended or not, others are informative or motivational. Nothing in this world is entirely pure, it’s a mixed bag. This is why I liked CS Lewis’, “The Screwtape Letters”, as it is a story from the perspective of demons who are fully evil trying to destroy their targeted Christian. As the story unfolds the strategy and devices of the demon enemy conform and change, but always with the intent of destroying their target. The unseen workings of God can not be seen by either the Christian or the demons. However, the demons are thwarted even after their temptations make some evil progress. What is known about God, His love, mercy, sovereignty, and authority have been fully expressed and demonstrated in and through Yeshua, (Jesus’ Hebrew name).
God is not like mankind in that He is unlimited, perfect and Holy. His will is done, though it is denied, misconstrued, mocked, and scoffed. The world is in turmoil constantly, from storms, earthquakes, floods, drought, or man made disasters and tragedy like war crime waves, riots, and sickness. Some people believe they are capable of ruling nations and the entire world and doing a better job than God can. The Communists leaders are the most obvious examples, but many others exist in obscurity. One thing is generally truth of these demigods and despot’s is they live in luxury while their serfs live in scarcity and poverty. As long as time exists, evil has been rampant on earth, but restrained by God’s Holy Spirit. (2 Thess. 2:6-7) Judgment is coming in the end on an individual basis, nothing will remain hidden every thought, intention and purpose will be revealed. Evil will be destroyed and righteousness set in place. The enemy and his followers will be destroyed, while God’s children will be welcomed into His presence with joy and peace everlasting. When we see or hear and judge by what we understand our judgment is faulty. Of course, there are evil things like, abortion, injustice, corruption, murder, lies, slavery, perversion, etc., but God only is capable of bringing justice, freedom, healing, sanity, righteousness, security and truth about. He uses people, things, events (good and bad) as well as His Word and Spirit.
No matter what your circumstances may be He is an anchor for the soul. (Heb. 9:6) People all across the world are coming to faith in Yeshua, Messiah. God is doing a new thing and sustaining His people even through persecution and martyrdom, because this fallen world is not worthy of all who believe and have committed their way to Him. We should remember what Yeshua said to Saul who was persecuting Believers, “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:5-6) Yeshua is with us and knows what we experience fully. He is our Messiah, God the King and Ruler over all. (Rom. 9:5)
