Life brings problems which we encounter. Must we face them? Are we able to face them? How and why? There are forces set on our destruction Spirituality, Emotionally, Physically. Also, there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain. Most importantly, Almighty God rules heaven and earth. Yeshua (Jesus’ Hebrew name) opened a way for us to approach God through His shed blood on the cross.
Spiritual warfare brings oppression, fear, and bondage. Yeshua came to set us free from the enemy. He wants His children to be free. In every situation there can be physical, emotional and spiritual manifestations. For example, we could have been abused bodily or verbally. This act could also involve mental anguish, fear or shame which is emotional. Finally, it could involve an evil, wickedness, lie or curse that is a spiritual aspect. The dimensions of our existence are more than we often consider and our freedom, healing and restoration must be in all these dimensions, if we want to be whole. Yeshua often spoke forgiveness as He healed infirmity and He spoke words that drove out evil spirits. He healed completely just as He saves completely, raised in a glorified heavenly Body, Soul and Spirit.
Today, when you contemplate your problems that are not trivial, temporary, petty inconvenience, seek Yeshua. You may have issues that you have struggled with for years, but they are still there, sometimes being remembered with pain and fear. First, ask for courage to confront your pain and anguish, because you cannot get to the root unless you can see the truth. Sometimes we have devised coping mechanisms to move on, but the hurt, anguish and curse is still there. It takes courage like the woman with the issue of blood who touched His garment among the crowd. (Luke 8:43-48) She had tried everything for 12 years and finally reached out with faith and courage. With courage you can face the emotions and recall the event(s) that you have stuffed down deep within as a means of coping. As difficult as this may be emotionally, realize that our emotions reveal what we actually believe, whether it is true or not. If through an event we believed a lie, our emotions will confirm it. Call upon the Lord of Heaven and earth, Yeshua Messiah. Take it to Him, visualizing all that happened and/or was said. Realize that Yeshua was standing there beside you when this happened. “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8, also see John 14:16-18, 10:2-4) Ask Him to take away the pain and hurt, body, Soul and Spirit. Affirm His promise to set us free. (Luke 4:18; John 8:32,36; Gal. 5:1) We are weak, but He is strong and has promised to take our burden and give us rest and peace. (Matt. 11:30) Receive His healing by faith with every curse broken and fear relieved. This event happened, but the Lord will take away all the pain and anguish so that we can face the past and future in His freedom. This is God’s will for you to be free from the snares and chains of the enemy.
