Encouragement

The forces of evil are arrayed against us, but the Hosts of Heaven are for us. Your life is in Yeshua Messiah, not in the few years you breath earth’s air. Can eternity include the history of mankind, much less your seventy or eighty years? If all the world could not hold the books that could be written about Yeshua, what will be the substance of eternity? (John 21:25)

“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God…He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true…” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west…The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb… On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.” (Revelation 21:1-3, 5, 10-14, 25-26)

Set your heart where your treasure is, on Yeshua in whom is all your hope and desire. This life of mortality will be swallowed up by life. (2 Cor. 5:4) Within your innermost being you are longing to be clothed in the imperishable. (1 Cor. 15:53) God is jealous over His Spirit that He put within His children, the elect, whom He knew before the world was created. (James 4:5: Eph. 1:4) Most everyone has spent some time gazing at the horizon, sea, mountain tops, waterfalls, sunset, stars, sunrise, clouds, or various vistas of beauty; these will be as nothing in the light of the glory of God’s presence in Heaven.
