Yeshua’s Supreme Victory

“He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.” (Matthew 13:37-39)

If you considered the entire population of true followers of Yeshua, Christians, versus all other people throughout the world would you think Christians are more influential, smarter, better organized, usually prevailing, healthier, stronger, more educated, in a word – better? It’s a frivolous question, but it illustrates a fact. “…For the people of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.” (Luke 16:8) It is not without God’s design. “Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

Nevertheless, Yeshua is the supreme Victor over every enemy, sin and even death. “The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” (1 John 3:8) A worldly unspiritual view of Yeshua’s life ignores the victory Yeshua won over satan, the crushing defeat and utter destruction of the devil’s work. A man blind from birth was given sight. (John 9:1-22) A woman bent over for eighteen years by satan’s evil spirit was healed. (Luke 13:11-16) A woman with a bleeding disorder for twelve years was healed. (Matt. 9:20-22) A man paralyzed for thirty-eight years was restored to health. (John 5:5-14) Lazarus, Jesus friend died of an illness, but Yeshua raised him after four days in the grave. (John 11:17-44) An extremely violent man out of his mind by demonic possession was delivered and restored to sanity. (Mark 5:1-20) A woman caught in adultery was threatened with stoning, but Yeshua forgave her encouraging her to sin no more. (John 8:4-11) All of these and multitudes of others through out twenty-one centuries have been delivered, healed, restored, and forgiven as He destroys satan’s works.  Yeshua’s victory over the enemy continues giving  freedom, restoration and salvation?
